Hugging the Atlantic Ocean and widely considered Rhode Island's oldest Irish pub, with nearly 100 years of tradition.
We are a theatre by the sea! Check out our show schedule.
Growing . Harvesting . Serving Farm to Table & Pond to Plate. We are committed to uniting fresh, locally grown produce with farm-raised and wild-caught seafood to make the freshest dishes you’ll find anywhere. Our signature raw bar offers a variety of Rhode Island oysters, crisp cherrystones, littleneck clams, and jumbo shrimp. Our Matunuck Oysters are grown in Potter Pond right off our waterfront patio and many of our herbs and vegetables are grown in our vegetable farm on the north end of the pond. Our talented chef, Jeff Cruff, takes the bounty of fresh local ingredients and combines them to make mouth-watering dishes, from seafood classics like calamari, chowder, scallops, stuffed lobster, and lobster rolls, to creative daily specials such as pan-seared day boat halibut with English pea saffron risotto with Matunuck Farm spinach in a tomato herb reduction and lobster scallop sauté with coconut green curry and a side of Matunuck Farm cucumber gazpacho. Our meat dishes feature delicious grass-fed beef from Rhode Island. Our cocktails and extensive wine list complement the vibrant flavors of our menu offerings.
We are a family run business. My Grandfater, Jim, started Jim's Dock in 1972. My father took it over after he retired from the State Police in 1992. I took over in 2000. We do now take CREDIT CARDS ... Visa, Master Card and Discover. BYOB, DOGS welcome.
Champlin's Seafood, a mainstay of the scenic Rhode Island fishing port of Galilee since the 1930's, offers its customers only the finest in North Atlantic seafood. The local catch flows from our own dock and into the downstairs retail market and wholesale department, as well as the traditional clam shack-style upstairs restaurant. Champlin's Seafood...because a Champlin's lobster is a happy lobster!
