When you enter Golden Temple, you step into a realm of relaxed luxury. The simple pleasures of eating, drinking, conversation and dining are encouraged. The same philosophy holds true in the kitchen. Chefs use simple, fresh, healthful ingredients in exceptional ways to create contemporary Asian dishes. The modern, dramatic settings of the dining rooms are the perfect backdrop for an equally modern menu of fine Asian cuisine. All your favorites are there, as well as many contemporary dishes unique to the restaurant. Specialties include Golden Temple barbecued ribs, ginger Chilean sea bass and Chardonnay chicken. You can also enjoy shao-mai, a traditional dish of Asian steamed dumplings, the E room tenderloin of beef, Beijing duck and ginger scallion lobster.

Scott started cooking in his early teens for friends and family in his home town of Pittsburgh PA. He always had a dream of some day owning a restaurant, but when he moved to Boston to attend college his career in the music business took off. Scott found himself touring the world playing bass for Letters to Cleo, Tracy Bonham, Nina Gordon, and Weezer. Eventually Scott's focus leaned more towards recording music and he engineered numerous hit songs, some of which garnered Grammy nominations. In Scott's eyes, the best part about all this traveling for music was that it enabled him to seek out the best pizzerias across the US and Italy. Befriending and learning from owners of these sucessful establishments offered valuable insight into what makes crave-worthy pizza.
A neighborhood Mexican kitchen and tequila bar, The Burro Bar is the smaller sibling of The Painted Burro in Somerville. Our tequila list features over 100 bottles that are “Burro tested and approved”. With splashes of influence from Baja and Oaxaca to Veracruz and Yucatan, Chef Joe Cassinelli’s dishes showcase a creative, fun side of familiar flavors, where ingredients and local produce take center stage.
