The Asgard is a lovely place with a variety of comfy and cool places to sit and eat or enjoy a pint. The Asgard was designed in Ireland, with local artists helping us put the finishing touches on a truly one-of-a-kind bar. Much of the decorative wood is over 150 years old. Nestled in the heart of Harvard Square, MG Restaurant Group, presents “Kennedy’s on the Square.” An inspirational tavern, melding local gastro-pub fare with tantalizing cocktails and craft beers. This 94 seater boasts plush red leather seating amid iconic photos of the Kennedy era. The infamous “vault” also received a face lift and is perfect for small intimate gatherings and/or private events. Stylishly crafted by Finbar Griffin, the Gastropub evokes an incredible feeling of nostalgia and heralds a new direction in pub dining. Culinary director, Yankel Polak, pulls out all the stops and blends traditional pub fare with some great modern additions like sizzling PEI mussels to a gluten free spaghetti and meatballs. Dinner served until 10pm Sun-Wed, until 12am Thurs-Sat.
